The Alan Kutaka Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Alan Kutaka, a deeply respected leader and longtime advisor at Tihati Productions—the largest and longest-running entertainment company in the State of Hawai‘i. Renowned for its authentic Polynesian performances, Tihati showcases the rich cultural heritage of every Polynesian island group through music, dance, and
storytelling. Alan served with distinction as Chief Financial Officer and Controller, earning admiration for his steadfast leadership, integrity, and enduring dedication to his community

Modeled on the mission of the Ho‘omau Foundation, the Alan Kutaka Memorial Scholarship seeks to empower Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) students who are committed to academic excellence, cultural preservation, and community service.
